In effort to prevent fraudulent overseas charges, credit card companies often place temporary holds on credit cards. Notify them before your trip with the exact dates and locations of your travels.  

Try your best to NEVER fly into port the same day of a cruise instead enjoy an overnight stay or explore the city your ship is departing from. Cruise lines offer so many great things for their travelers but one thing they wont do is wait....UNLESS you do this 1 thing...(wanna know?)

Most wouldn't consider this unless you are a avid traveler but in today's time this can come in handy right when you need it. Less hassle and less time waiting in those long lines.
